چکیده
At present, the role of agricultural practices on dynamic GHGs is being investigated worldwide. In this study, effects soil tillage (conventional vs. conservation techniques) and fertilization sources (inorganic organic) CO2 emissions in durum wheat (Triticum Desf.)–potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) rotation Mediterranean area were evaluated. This study aimed to understand changes carbon content under different (moldboard plow (P), subsoiler (R), spading machine (S)) (mineral (M) organic (O) with municipal waste). Soil flux, water content, temperature data collected for both crops using a portable closed-chamber infrared gas dynamics system. Significant relationships detected between temperate content. However, these found only crops. Our findings indicate that including sustainable wheat–potato system could act as an appropriate alternative option increase carbon, mitigate emissions, reduce dependence chemical inputs energy.

Cropping systems, tillage and fertilization strategies for durum wheat performance and soil properties
Many sustainable agronomical practices can be adopted to contain environmental risks of crop production and, at the same time, sustain yield and quality. In this framework, the aim of this research was to study the effects of continuous cropping (CC) and crop rotation, tillage and fertilization strategies on durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) production. The responses of soil properties we...
متن کاملCrop rotation and tillage effects on selected soil physical properties of a Typic Haploxerert in an irrigated semi-arid Mediterranean region
Physical, chemical and biological attributes of soil surface are significantly affected by tillage practices and crop rotation. The objective of this study was to determine the short-term (2006-2009) effects of conventional and conservational tillage practices on selected soil physical properties of a heavy clay soil under two wheat-corn and wheatlegume rotation in a semi-arid Mediterranean...

Hence, establishing proper interpretive guide...
متن کاملIntegrative impacts of soil tillage on crop yield, N use efficiency and greenhouse gas emission in wheat-corn cropping system
Wheat-corn cropping system is one of the most important grain production systems in theworld. However, the integrative impacts of soil tillage on crop yield, N use efficiency (NUE)and greenhouse gases (GHGS) emissions are not well documented in this system. Thus, a twoyear field experiment was carried out in a typical wheat-corn cropping system with four tillageregimes during the wheat season, ...
متن کاملSoil microbial metabolism and invertase activity under crop rotation and no-tillage in North China
Soil samples were collected at both jointing and maturing stages of maize and wheat to compare the effects of 4-year no-tillage (NT) and conventional tillage (CT) on seasonal variations of microbial biomass carbon (C), metabolic quotient, and invertase activity in a sandy loam soil in North China. Soil invertase activity significantly increased (P < 0.05) from summer to spring of the next year ...
